What are the different results between Weight/Resistance training and Cardiovascular training, and which one gives the best results?
This is a question that has been arising for the last couple of weeks, and has been a top subject in the fitness world.
Weight training delivers tone and strength to the muscle, but also produces sustained fat burn do to vascular flow through out the muscle tissue.
Cardiovascular training focuses on the endurance of your muscle as well as a high intensity fat burn do to an elevated VO2 max. (higher HR) You want to make sure to keep your VO2 max in a 60-80% range to promote a perfect fat burn while preserving the lean muscle mass, anything over 80% VO2 max will in fact burn more of the muscle and less of that not so needed fatty tissue.
looking at it this way, my final answer is they both work together to get you to your fitness goal!
Keep in mind: nutrition, Cardiovascular and Weight/Resistance training all work together!
complete all three correctly and consistently and you'll get to your fitness goal no problem.
